Traffic Survey Partners
About Traffic Survey Partners (TSP)
TSP offers a comprehensive, end-to-end traffic data collection service tailored to each project’s needs. With over 400 camera systems and a large fleet of Automatic Traffic Counters (ATCs) at our disposal, we have the capacity and flexibility to undertake complex surveys across multiple sites and over extended periods. While we leverage the latest analytical methodologies and equipment – from bespoke CCTV and ANPR cameras to drone surveys – we also recognise the critical importance of human expertise. Every project is supported by a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring precise execution, responsive communication, and expert oversight at every stage.
We pride ourselves on a fully in-house approach. Unlike many providers, we never outsource survey work – giving us full control from initial planning and equipment installation to data processing and final reporting. Our directors and senior managers are directly involved in survey planning and project management, which guarantees rigorous quality assurance from start to finish. High-quality traffic data is a vital input to the transport planning process, and our mission is to deliver that data in a comprehensive, economical, and efficient way. Clients benefit from a seamless, managed process that produces reliable results on time and within budget, with client liaison and reporting handled through our London office for convenient communication.
Our Team
Traffic Survey Partners was founded and is led by seasoned experts in transport data and analysis. Siva Nagarajah, who established TSP, is a veteran of the transport analytics field. Prior to founding the company, Siva served as Analysis Director at Count On Us, where he oversaw numerous high-profile transport data projects. He began his career at the Department for Transport (DfT) as a Graduate Statistical Officer, gaining invaluable experience in transport policy, modelling, and data-driven decision-making in a government context. Siva’s vision in creating TSP was to deliver high-quality traffic data through a blend of technical innovation and rigorous statistical methodology, underpinned by exceptional client service.
In 2012, Jerry Bentall joined TSP as Public Transport Director, further strengthening our team’s expertise. Jerry brings over 37 years of experience from his previous roles at Count On Us, British Rail, and Halcrow. He is a specialist in rail service planning, public transport research, and market analysis. Jerry’s extensive knowledge of public transport operations and planning ensures that TSP excels in surveys related to buses, rail, and other mass transit systems, providing clients with nuanced insights into public transport usage and performance.
Our data analysis division is led by Inga Balter, who joined TSP in 2011 and now serves as Senior Data Analyst. Inga oversees the processing, validation, and interpretation of all survey data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across our projects. She has worked on major assignments including the Croydon Tramlink surveys and HS2 transport studies, bringing a keen eye for detail and statistical integrity to every dataset. In addition to delivering analysis reports to clients, Inga mentors our junior analysts and supports project managers in presenting clear, reliable data on time.
On the technical side, Damian Jedruszek has been with TSP since the company’s inception and is our Senior Technician. Damian is responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining all survey equipment in the field – including CCTV units, ANPR cameras, and ATC devices. He ensures that every project’s hardware setup runs smoothly and that data collection in the field is executed without a hitch. Damian has managed some of our largest and most complex field operations, such as the Brent Cross redevelopment survey, which involved deploying 150 ANPR cameras and over 100 manual count locations simultaneously. His practical expertise and problem-solving skills are crucial in delivering successful surveys under challenging real-world conditions.
Together,
our leadership team and staff bring decades of combined experience in
traffic survey design, execution, and analysis. We are a tight-knit team that
shares a passion for data quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. This
